HOW WE WRITE

A useful comparison
needs a fair starting point.

Gabsy’s journal is written from the perspective of its maker, Colin. It is not an independent review publication. There are no affiliate links in these articles.

Evidence before a winner

Competitor facts come from dated, linked official documentation. A documented capability is not a result from our own test. We do not claim a speed or accuracy lead without controlled comparative evidence.

Available, in alpha, or planned

Those states are named separately. Gabsy’s planned pricing and private-alpha features are not presented as a product you can purchase today. Unsupported editor paths and pending hardware checks remain visible limitations.

A recommendation needs a reason

Where an available competitor is the better fit for a specific need, the article says so. Position in a table is not a ranking. We explain the tradeoffs rather than quietly awarding ourselves first place.

Corrections

Product details change. Sources and check dates make them easier to revisit. Use the contact form to flag a factual error; identify the article and the source that corrects it.

This approach follows Google’s guidance on useful reviews and people-first content.
