Gabsy is in private alpha. This notice describes this waitlist website and the current local-first app design. Features still in testing can change before release.

The waitlist
We collect your email, consent version and signup time to send Gabsy availability and launch updates. Signing up is optional. We rely on your consent for these updates, and you can withdraw it using the private removal link shown after signup. We do not sell the waitlist or use it for unrelated advertising. This website does not take payment, create a paid account, activate your microphone or send automatic signup emails.
The email and a hashed removal token are stored in a dedicated database on our IONOS VPS. The plain removal token is shown only in your private link. We keep signups until you withdraw consent or until 12 months after signup, whichever comes first. Joining again later is your choice. The site operator can access records for the stated purpose. Coolify manages the service on that VPS.
Technical data
To prevent abuse, the waitlist service stores a salted hash of your network address and request counts for up to one hour. It does not store the raw address in its database or log email submissions. Our hosting and network infrastructure necessarily handles connection information and may retain operational or security logs under its own policies. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies, uses no third-party tracking scripts and loads its fonts locally from your system.
The Mac app
Local speech recognition and cleanup run on your Mac after model installation. Initial model downloads require internet. Saved dictation history is off by default. Scratchpad is saved separately until cleared. Temporary audio is normally removed after processing; optional recovery work may retain it on your Mac when explicitly enabled. These are implementation details under acceptance testing, not an independent security certification.
Optional cloud cleanup is in development. If you enable a compatible endpoint with your own key, transcripts, selected text, instructions and relevant writing samples may be sent to that provider. Audio and captured window context stay local in the current implementation. Provider fees, retention and processing policies apply. Compatibility is not universal, and no provider is connected by default.
Your rights and choices
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and withdraw consent. You may complain to your local data protection authority. The private removal link offers immediate waitlist deletion. If you lose it, submit a request below; we may need to verify control of your email before sharing or deleting records. Privacy requests are retained for up to 12 months to handle and document the request, then deleted. We aim to respond within one month.
